Trade Show Displays 101

Wednesday, February 18th, 2009

When it comes to display marketing you basically have two options you can either rent or purchase. In today’s tough economic climate demand for trade show exhibit rentals and portable displays have increased dramatically. Trade show displays have their own unique characteristics and features. The goal is to choose the appropriate booth that fits within your company needs and budget. The decision process can be tough but through education and research the appropriate booth will never become more apparent.

Portable Displays

Portable trade show displays are great entry level booths but they are also used by industry veterans due to their portability and cost savings. These displays are built to be lightweight, ship in small containers, and designed for easy setup and dismantle. There are variety of models and styles to choose from when selecting portable. You have table top displays, tension fabric, panel, and pop up displays. These displays offer great flexibility and have ample room to add trade show graphics for branding. Portable displays can provide your company with attractive booth space that draws the attention of show visitors towards your products and services.

Exhibit Rentals

Trade show display rentals have been around for years however, I have seen some recent growth primarily due to the economy. Rentals are great for first time exhibitors, or company’s that are looking to test out the waters with the use of a larger display. Depending on your booth rental you have the opportunity to showcase your products and services with the look of a custom exhibit at a fraction of the cost. Not only does renting cut expenses on the booth but if you rent locally you will save on shipping costs. Not to mention most exhibit houses offer packaged deals that include show supervision. Rentals are great because they give all exhibitors the chance to make a grand impression amongst the show visitors.

My objective for this post was to share my knowledge and experiences gained by working in the trade show industry. I hope that you found the post to be useful and appealing.
